Happy 4th of July! We started the day early. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Vawser's house to watch the community parade. Kids decorated their bicycles and dogs wore red, white, and blue bandanas. It was a good 'ole time. Afterwards we went to the park and went down the slide. Then is was BBQ and off to have a long nap. That afternoon it rained which was great. I'm sure the fire department was glad to see wet lawns and roofs. A few people in our neighborhood had some fireworks, but they didn't keep Graham awake. It must be summer time. We finally had a nice summer day without the tornado sirens going off. June 23 Happy Father's Day Happy Father's Day!
Graham got a sandbox / water stand. He really loves playing outside with it.
He's walking a lot more around the house. June 13 Graham WalkingHere's Graham taking his first steps. He's been pushing around a little walking toy for a few days now.
This morning he got up the courage to take a few steps all by himself. Oh course Laura was there in case he falls. June 06 Graham Mowing
Graham earned his allowance this week. I can see him telling his kids now, "When I was one my dad made me mow the lawn, and I liked it!" Am I being over protective holding an umbrella? I would just hate to see him get sun burned. In case you don't have speakers, Laura wants me to reassure everyone that the mower is turned off. |
